The Double Action reversible candle is a classic and versatile component of the folk magic practitioner's toolkit. Designed with a distinct white-over-black composition, this 9-inch taper serves as a visual and symbolic bridge between two concurrent ritual needs: the desire to invite clarity, purity, and healing into a space, and the subsequent necessity of grounding or removing any remaining negative influence. By lighting the candle, you create a dedicated focal point for the intentional process of transformation—watching the transition from the white layer of blessing into the black layer of protection and release. It is a quiet, steady companion for your meditative work and ritual devotion.

Working with Your Taper Candle

• ✦Intention Setting: Many practitioners burn the white layer first to focus on inviting clarity and blessing, followed by the black layer to symbolize the subsequent protection and grounding of that newfound positive energy.
• ✦Safety First: Please ensure your candle is placed in a sturdy, heat-safe holder on a level, non-flammable surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from drafts, curtains, or curious pets.
• ✦Standard Practice: These tapers are provided as curios for your personal ritual practice. They are intended as a meditative aid and should be used with the same care and attention as any other traditional candle.
