Cimaruta Pentacle Plaque

The Guardian of the Threshold

Stregheria · Folk Magick · Evil Eye Protection

Mediterranean Mystery

Protect your home with an ancient symbol of protection.

The Cimaruta Pentacle Plaque is a masterfully designed talisman that bridges the gap between traditional Italian Folk Magick (Stregheria) and modern protective practices. Historically known as the "Sprig of Rue," the Cimaruta is one of the world's oldest amulets for warding off the Evil Eye (Malocchio) and ensuring domestic harmony.

This exclusive Dryad Designs piece by artist Paul Borda reimagines the traditional charm by centering it within a Pentacle, creating a double layer of spiritual defense. Each branch of the Cimaruta holds a specific symbolic key to protection: the Key for secret wisdom, the Flower for the Goddess's grace, and the Dagger to cut through negativity.

Following traditional Kitchen Witchcraft and Stregheria practices, it is best placed near your front door, directly above a hearth, or in the kitchen to act as a steadfast guardian of the home's entryways and pantry.

3. How do I cleanse and charge this pentacle?

Pass the plaque through the smoke of sage, palo santo, or traditional Italian protective herbs like rosemary. As you do, visualize the symbols awakening to form an impenetrable barrier around your sanctuary.

While deeply rooted in Stregheria (traditional Italian witchcraft) and Mediterranean folk magick, its universal protective qualities make it a powerful and welcomed addition to Wiccan, Hoodoo, and eclectic craft practices.
