The Stag can also symbolize The Horned God in the Wiccan traditions, a deity of masculinity, the hunt, the wilderness, his potent, life-giving energy and the cycle of life and death. Stags shed and regrow their antlers annually, reflecting the concept of the God's ever-changing nature.
