Sympathetic Magick · Banishing, Binding & Protection

Approx. 8" Tall · Unscented Premium Wax

Candle Overview

The Magick of the Image Candle

In the realm of sympathetic magick, the image candle is one of the most powerful tools a practitioner can employ. Our Female Figure Candle in Black serves as a potent focal point for your altar, designed to directly represent a specific female subject in your spellwork—whether that is yourself, a target, or a toxic individual you need to forcefully remove from your life.

In color magick, black is the ultimate absorber and destroyer of negative energy. It represents the void, Saturnian discipline, and impenetrable boundaries. A black figure candle is primarily utilized for heavy defensive magick: banishing harmful influences, binding a specific woman from doing harm, reversing hexes back to their sender, or forcefully cutting ties and energetic cords.

Themes & Magickal Focus

☾

Banishing & Binding

The premier tool for halting malevolent actions, stopping malicious gossip, or binding a specific female.

Protection & Reversing

Use this candle as a proxy for yourself to help absorb hexes, or to represent a female to mirror them and direct negativity back to them.

Cord Cutting

Highly effective in separation rituals to help cut toxic ties with a former friend, break unhealthy romantic attachments, or banish meddlesome individuals from your energetic field.

Working With This Candle

☾

Carving & Taglocks

Use an athame, ritual knife, or stylus to deeply inscribe the target's name, birthdate, or identifying traits into the wax before burning.

Dressing the Candle

Anoint with Banishing, Reversing, or Hot Foot oil. To expel energy or drive someone away, rub the oil starting from the center of the candle outward to the ends.

Safety in Spellwork

Figure candles melt unevenly and can drip substantially. Always burn on a wide, heat-resistant surface, a cast iron skillet, or inside a fire-safe cauldron.

OUR TAKE

+ Why We Keep These On Hand

Sometimes you need more focus than a standard taper or chime candle can provide. When a situation is deeply personal, an image candle can help you bridge the gap between intention and target flawlessly. Black candles often get a bad reputation, but we view them as the spiritual vacuum cleaners of the craft. When you need to aggressively clear out a toxic female presence, banish a meddler, or put a strict boundary in place, this is the tool of focus you reach for.
