The stag is a powerful symbol in Pagan traditions, particularly associated with nature, fertility, and the hunt. The Celtic God Cerunnos is often depicted with antlers himself. He represents the wild, the forest, and animals, with the stag being a key aspect of his domain. The Stag can also symbolize The Horned God in the Wiccan traditions, a deity of masculinity, the hunt, the wilderness, his potent, life-giving energy and the cycle of life and death. Stags shed and regrow their antlers annually, reflecting the concept of the God's ever-changing nature. He dies (loses his antlers) in winter and is reborn (grows new antlers) in spring, mirroring the cycle of death and rebirth found in nature and pagan traditions. This necklace features a the proud stag. A unique design by artist Ted Andrews.
