“Horus the Avenger”, an original design, in the gothic style, represents Horus as the Egyptian Falcon-god. His glorious wings are encircling the solar disk, symbol of the sun god “Ra”. His eyes symbolize the sun and moon. In his claws he clutches the Egyptian ankh, symbol of everlasting life. Horus was a major deity in Egyptian culture and was also known as the “sky-god” and the “god of healing”.
