Tyr is the god of justice and right action in Norse mythology, portrayed as a one-handed man. He sacrificed his hand to the Fenris Wolf to protect his people and fellow Gods. The runes say "Tyr and Fenris Wolf" in Old Norse:"TYR OK FENRISULFR."
